Zephyr Essential
Looker Studio Connector for Jira supports Zephyr Essential 2.0 (New Experience) only. If you’re using Zephyr Essential 1.0 (Legacy Experience), you may not find the required token for integration. For upgrading to version 2.0, please await the upcoming Zephyr Essential migration tool or contact SmartBear Technical Support for assistance.
You can now revoke your integration token at any time! This gives you more control over your connected apps and helps keep your account secure.
Zephyr Essential Overview
Zephyr Essential is a flexible test management tool for Agile teams inside Jira. Zephyr Essential provides essential features for test design and execution in a single project.
Zephyr Essential fields are located in a separate tab.
How to Add Zephyr Essential Token
Zephyr Essential API Access Token is required to view and export Zephyr Essential data with Looker Studio Connector.
Being signed in to your Jira Cloud instance, select your profile picture, and then select Zephyr Squad API Access Tokens.
Select the Create access token button.
Select the Copy button.
Make sure to copy the token before closing the window. Once you leave the window, you won’t be able to view it again. You can generate a new token whenever you need.
Select Close.
Return to Apps, and then select Looker Studio Connector for Jira.
On the left-side menu, select API Integrations, locate Zephyr Essential, and then select Add.
In the Access token* field, paste your token, and then select Save.
Starting now, all users with granted permissions to work with data source and who added the token can select Zephyr Essential tables and fields for export.
