What Is Vault Audit?

 

The Vault Audit page provides a comprehensive record of actions performed with vaults. This feature allows users to easily track and review activities associated with their vaults.

Audit access is available to the vault owners and users with full permissions.

 

How to View and Export Vault Audit?

 

  1. Being signed in to your Jira Cloud instance, select Apps, and then select Vault Password Manager.

  1. On the corresponding vault, select (the Gear icon).

  1. Select Audit Vault.

 

 

  1. Select Export Audit Logs.

The log file will be exported in the CSV format.

 

What Do Log Audit Statuses Mean?

 

  • view - the status is displayed when a user logs in to the Vault Password Manager, across all vaults accessible to that user.

  • create - the status indicates the creation of a new vault.

  • edit - the status reflects vault modifications such as adding or deleting elements.

  • manage - the status reflects changes made to the vault itself (e.g renaming the vault).

  • permission - the status indicates changes in permissions.
