An access token functions like a password, allowing the Tableau BI Connector to retrieve data from the monday.com API.
monday.com provides 2 types of tokens: an App token, which is the regular access token you get once you start using Tableau BI Connector for monday.com, and a Personal token, which helps accelerate data export.
When exporting a large amount of data, you may encounter an errors or a slowdown in the export process due to API rate limits. To increase the API rate limit, you need to obtain a Personal token.
Even if you obtain a Personal token, to connect to Tableau Software, use your App (access) token.

Select Tokens, and the select Copy token.
Use this token as a password while connecting to Tableau.
📘 How to Get Personal Token
Despite being called a Personal token, it actually functions as an account token since all users on the instance can use it. Therefore, two users are exporting a large amount of data simultaneously, the data export process might slow down.
