How to create custom statuses?

Step 1. Go to the Jira Administration tab and select Manage apps section.

Step 2. Click Custom Statuses in Checklist for Jira On-the-Fly configuration.

 

After that, the following configurations will be available:

 

  1. Select a particular project to create or manage custom statuses.

  2. Enter a name that displays status values.

  3. Select an icon that displays status values.

  4. Enter status symbol for bulk editor.

  5. Select status color.

  6. Click to create a new status.

Step 3. Create new custom status as shown below:
