Tableau Connector allows selecting the majority of fields and tables from your Shopify store for export into Tableau Software.

Here is the full list of fields types supported by the application:

  • Balance - The account's current balance. This amount is comprised of any Transaction not yet included in a Payout.

  • Custom Collections - Represents a custom collection of products. A custom collection is a grouping of products that a merchant can create to make their store easier to browse.

  • Customers - Represents information about a customer of the shop, such as the customer's contact details, their order history, and whether they've agreed to receive email marketing.

  • Disputes - Disputes occur when a buyer questions the legitimacy of a charge with their financial institution.

  • Metafields - Metafields represent custom metadata attached to a resource. Metafields can be sorted into namespaces and are composed of keys, values, and value types. This table will include only shop-level metafield data.

  • Orders - An order represents an agreement to do business between a customer and a merchant. It is a customer's completed request to purchase one or more products from a shop. An order is created when a customer completes the checkout process, during which time they provide an email address or phone number, billing address and payment information.

  • Payments Transactions - Balance Transactions make up the canonical "statement of account", or ledger for a Shopify Payments account. Every single movement of money in or out of the account is recorded here.

  • Payouts - Payouts represent the movement of money between a Shopify Payments account balance and a connected bank account.

  • Products - Contains a shop’s products.

  • Smart Collections - Represents a smart collection of products. A smart collection is a grouping of products defined by rules that are set by the merchant.

  • Product Variants - Represents a different version of a product, such as different sizes or differing colours.

  • Inventory Items - Represents the goods available to be shipped to a customer. It holds essential information about the goods, including SKU and whether it is tracked.

  • Product Images - All images of all products of the shop.

Each of these filed types consists of many various fields available for export.
