  • The administrator can create email templates and then plugin users can use them when sending emails.  To create custom email templates, please follow next steps:

Step 1. Go on Administration page to section “Manage apps”

Step 2. To manage custom templates click web-item “Templates”

Step 3. After clicking on the “Add new template” button, you will be redirected to the “Add template” page

Step 4. Create custom email templates

This page consists of such parts:

  1. “Name” - required, must be unique, name of the template;

  2. “Example template” - you can choose Jira’s default template and change it for your template;

  3.  “HTML Body Template” - required field, template content for HTML format email;

  4. “Text Body Template” - required field, template content for Text format email

Buttons:

5. “Save” - template saving and redirect you to the page with a list of templates;

6. “Cancel” - allows you to return to the page with a list of templates without saving data
