Note

An incremental refresh will function according to the following algorithm:

  • The Issues table > create a new issue > can be refreshed incrementally;

  • The Issue Worklogs table > create a new worklog > can be refreshed incrementally;

  • The Projects table > create a new project > can be refreshed incrementally;

  • The Histories table > by date of adding Histories > can be refreshed incrementally.

  • In case you edit the existing issue, worklog, or project data, the incremental refresh won't be applied.

  • The functionality may not work for all the tables (Issues, Issue Worklogs, Projects, Histories) within a single data source at once. Only for one of them.

  1. Export data to Tableau Desktop.

  2. Go to the created workbook > Data > select your data source > Extract > Refresh (Incremental):

  3. Review the history of refreshes by selecting History…:

Please note that refreshing WDC sources incrementally may not function correctly in the latest versions of Tableau Desktop.
