Follow the instructions to create a token (set Power BI Connector for Jira as a user):

Copy the token.

Go to the Power BI Connector plugin → Tokens, select Time In Status tab, enter the Token. Click Validate & Save.

From now on all users who were
  1. Being signed in to your Jira Cloud instance, select Apps, and then select Time in Status.

  1. Select ⚙️, and then select API Settings.

  1. Select Create New Token.

  1. In the Notes field, enter Power BI Connector for Time in Status or any other convenient name, and then select Save.

The Your token is ready pop-window will appear.

  1. Copy your token, and then close the window.

Note

Before closing the window, make sure to copy your token, you won’t see it again. Store it safely as it has access to your data.

  1. Go back to Apps, and then select Power BI Connector for Jira.

  1. On the left-side menu, select Tokens, and then select the Time in Status tab.

  1. In the Token* field, paste your token, and then select Validate & Save.

Starting now, all users with granted permission to work with the data

sources can select Time in Status tables and fields for export.
