  1. Being signed in to your Jira Cloud instance, select Apps, and then select Looker Studio Connector for Jira.

  1. On the left-hand menu, select Tokens.

Make sure you are on the Access token tab.

  1. Select Create new token.

The Create an Access token pop-up window will appear.

  1. In the Label* field, enter a label, and then select Create.

Select a label that is short, memorable, and easy for you to remember.

In our case, it is Power BI Token.

  1. Select Copy.

Before closing the window, make sure you copy your access token.

You won’t be able to see this token again.

You will use this access token as a password while connecting to Looker Studio.

Please keep this access token secure as it provides access to your Jira data.

  1. Select Close.

Here you can create up to 25 access tokens and also revoke those you don’t need anymore by selecting the Revoke button.
