While adding a data source URL in Power BI there is no authentication window

If you connect to your Power BI and no authentication windows appears, it might mean that your credentials were cached on the Power BI side or you used https://pbi-monday.alphaservesp.com/ URL during the previous authentication.

This enables exporting data from any URL starting with https://pbi-monday.alphaservesp.com/ because all data source URLs begin in the same way and they differ only in hash (the set of characters at the end of the link).

To avoid any further confusions or errors, we recommend you select the lowest level to apply the settings to.

To bring back authentication window, you might try to clear permission for https://pbi-monday.alphaservesp.com/ URL.

1. Launch your Microsoft Power BI, select Transform data, and then select Data source settings.

2. Select https://pbi-monday.alphaservesp.com/, and then select Clear Permissions.
