Step 1. Go on Administration page to section “Manage apps”

Step 2. To configure custom SMTP server click web-item “Custom SMTP server”


Step 3. In the window that opens, click “Add new SMTP server”

Step 4. If you want to use Google or Yahoo SMTP server you can follow our instructions:

Click here if you use Gmail as SMTP server
Click here if you use Yahoo!Mail Plus as SMTP server

In other cases, please use the field descriptions below:

  • Fields to fill:

  1. “Name” - required field, name of the SMTP server;

  2. “From address” - required field, the default address this server will use to send emails from;

  3. “Email prefix” - required field, this prefix will be prepended to all outgoing email subjects;

  4. “Service Provider” - the field is displayed only on the server creation page. You can choose custom or default Gmail and Yahoo SMTP server providers;

  5. “Protocol” - SMTP or secure SMTP protocol;

  6. “Host Name” - required field, the SMTP hostname of your mail server;

  7. “SMTP Port” - SMTP port number to use. Leave blank for default (defaults: SMTP - 25, SMTPS - 465);

  8. “Timeout” - timeout in milliseconds: 0 or negative values indicate infinite timeout. Leave blank for the default (10000 ms);

  9. “TLS” - the mail server requires the use of TLS security;

  10. “Username” - optionally, if you use authenticated SMTP to send an email, enter your username;

  11. “Password” - Optionally, enter your password if you use authenticated SMTP

  • Buttons:

12.“Test Connection” - allows you to check the connection to the SMTP server. In case of an unsuccessful connection, a message appears with a description of the error;

13. “Save” - custom mail server saving;

14.“Cancel” - allows you to return to the “Custom SMTP server” page without saving data.
