I need to configure the same data set for all projects in our Jira. Should I do this manually?

When you have configured a data source for one project, you may need to configure the same data set for other project or even for all projects in the Jira instance.

In order not to create the same data sources manually, which is pretty time-consuming, you can use the Clone option, thus you’ll be able to copy the same data source for all the projects you need.

Go to Power BI Connector for Jira and find the data source you need. Go to the right menu and click Clone:

You will the data source cloned:

Open

Click Edit on the right menu of the cloned data source:

Then in the window that opens, you can select the Jira Software tables and filters, if you need, in the Filter menu:

Click Save when you’re done.
