What's new in V2?
The Power BI Connector for Jira data sources using the old data scheme (V1) have been deprecated and are no longer in active service as of November 15, 2023.
Immediate Action Required:
Access V1 Data Sources: V1 data sources are temporarily available for reference. We recommend you transition to new data sources immediately as these data sources will be permanently deleted on December 15, 2023.
Create New Data Sources: Create new data sources using the updated data scheme (V2).
Update in Microsoft Power BI: Ensure that all reports and dashboards within Microsoft Power BI are using the new V2 data sources to avoid any disruptions.
Relationships between most of the tables are defined automatically and mirrored into the Data Model
Custom fields now have a consistent naming pattern and valid relationships with other tables
SLA columns can now be found in a separate table.
Other
Eliminated some of the data duplicates and fields that can be calculated directly in Power BI.
Fixed various flaws in the data types and wrong values
Moved fields with multiple values per 1 issue to the separate tables
Improved UI design, added info about high-performance impact field/tables, tables for linking, the actual location of data, etc.
