All Time Tracker for Jira settings can be made on one page, therefore the instructions below show how to find the configuration page and describe all Time Tracker’s configurations.
How to configure Time Tracker for Jira?
You can get to the configuration page in 2 options:
Option 1
Click Time Tracker Tab on the Jira main menu. Then choose Admin settings.
Option 2
Step 1. Go to the Jira Administration tab and select Manage app section.
Step 2. Find on the left side, menu panel “Time Tracker for Jira” tab, and click Configuration.
Time Tracker for Jira configuration page?
Below you will find a detailed description of Time Tracker for Jira configurations:
1. Allowed projects.
Use this configuration to enable Time Tracker for Jira for all existing projects or only certain projects in your Jira instance.
2. Work days.
Select your team workdays (At least one day).
3. Logging time.
If activate the checkbox, the users will be able to log time only on subtasks, not on parent issues.
4. Plugin settings.
If activate the checkbox, the users will be able to see the details of the application error.
5. Reset settings to default.
This action will restore plugin settings to defaults
6. Delete data about all timers.
This action will delete all currently active timers. In case of an unexpected error with the timer.
7. Save.
