How to edit or delete checklist templatеs?

Editing or managing a Checklist for Jira On-the-Fly will allow you to handle such issues: to Save your new list as a template, to Load another template, or to manage existing templates. This process will not copy over the body of the task or any other attachments. Checklist for Jira On-the-Fly templates can be set up within your configuration menu, and here is the detailed way how to do that:

Step 1. If you need to edit an existing template, click on the configuration menu. Select Manage templates.

 

 

 

Step 2. Click edit(pencil icon) or delete(bin icon) the template. If you change your mind about the need to make changes, you can always click the cancel button.

 

 

Step 3. In the edit window, you can:

  1. Change templates name.

  2. Change the templates items and status.

  3. This window allows you to correlate the status symbol and the status icon.

  4. Save - Confirm changes.

  5. Cancel changes.
