How to Export Data from Jira to SQL Database

1. Create Database in SQL Connector

Initially, you have to add your database configuration to SQL Connector. We kindly recommend to consider it as the first step.

If you already have a database for Jira data exporting, you can simply add its configuration to SQL Connector by accessing the Databases page.

2. Create Data Source

Now you need to create a data source for the data you want to transfer from your Jira Cloud to your SQL database. You can do it by accessing the Date Sources page inside the SQL Connector for Jira.

You have to name your data source, adjust sharing settings, and filter the tables you’d like to be in your data source.

3. Export Data into SQL Database

After adding the database configuration and creating the data source, you can easily export your data into SQL database. Being on the Data Source page, select Export data.
