This quick start guide walks you through installing the app, setting up access for your team, and exporting your first dataset to Microsoft Power BI.

Step 1: Install Power BI Connector for Jira Cloud

Install the app directly from your Jira Cloud instance or via the Atlassian Marketplace.
If you’re not a Jira administrator, select Request this app to notify your admin.

Step 2: Set Up Access to Power BI Connector

Jira Cloud administrators can access Power BI Connector by default.
To allow other users or groups to work with the app, configure permissions in the app settings.

Create a data source in Jira and export data to Microsoft Power BI. Follow the guide to start building your reports.
