Timepiece Tables Filtering
📘 The BigQuery Connector offers three filtering schemes:
First scheme: Filter by Project and it includes the following filters:
by Projects
by Issue types (e.g. Epic, Task, Bug, etc.)
by Issue statuses (e.g. Open, Done, In Progress, etc.)
Second scheme: Filter by JQL
Third scheme:
...
Filter by Issues (Global filter)
📘 The Included Statuses and Calendar filters are the separate set of filters than can be used with any of the mentioned schemes.
The Projects, Issue Types, and Issue Statuses filters are part of the project filtering schema and correspond to a custom JQL query. By selecting specific projects, issue types, and issue statuses, you generate a custom JQL request that returns a filtered list of tasks.
The Issue Statuses filter refers to the current status of a task. The Issue Statuses filter corresponds to the value of the Status field.
The Included Statuses filter captures intermediate statuses of a task and does not form part of the JQL request. If you want to include intermediate statuses in your export, use the Included Statuses filter. It corresponds to a separate filter block in the Time in Status app – +Add Status.
The Calendar filter allows you to select how the Time in Status value is calculated:
7/24 (default) -theTime in Status value is calculated considering 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.
Default Calendar Settings - this is a custom calendar and it its values depend on your settings in the Time in Status app.
Second scheme: Filter by JQL enables you to create your own JQL query and filter resulting list of tasks. This flexible tool allows you to search for issues, projects, etc. in Jira providing precise control over what you are looking for.
Third scheme: Filter by Issues (Global filter)applies the global JQL filtering scheme, meaning the resulting list of tasks will depend on Jira Issues Filters.
