How to create an Access Token
To export data from Jira to Microsoft Power BI in a secure way, you will need to create an Access Token. To create it, please follow the instructions in article How to create Access Token?
How to use the Access Token in Microsoft Power BI?
Copy the Data Source URL by clicking the Copy link icon.
In the Power BI Desktop, click Get Data → select OData feed, insert the copied Data Source link and click Ok
At the next step
Select Basic authentication
Enter your account email as a username.
Enter the Access Token into a Password field.
Click Connect

Copy the Data Source URL by clicking the Copy link icon.
On the Data Source tab, select ↗ (the Open in Looker Studio icon).

You will be redirected to the Looker Studio page. |
Select the AUTHORIZE button.
If you are doing it for the first time or if you are not singed in to your Looker Studio account, Google will ask you to authorize.
Select your account.
Select the Use another account option if account you want to use is not listed.
Select Allow.

Next to the Authorization section, the Credentials section will appear. The AUTHORIZE button will become AUTORIZED, indicating that authorization was successful. |
In the Username field, enter email you use with your Jira Cloud instance.
In the Password field, enter your access token, and then select SUBMIT.
The access token was created in this step.

After submit, you will see form with the Data Source URL and Table fields. The Data Source URL field already contains URL of your data source as it was encrypted in your access token. The Table field contains the drop-down list of tables available in this connector. |
Select the table you want, and then select CONNECT.

You can also rename your data source by clicking on the Untitled Data Source field. |
